"Even though the museum is quite small, there is so much to do and see and the volunteers who work there are just brilliant. They are so enthusiastic about their cause and are always so welcoming. My Dad loves sharing stories from the war with them and the volunteers are so informative.
We really think that anyone who visits the museum will have a great time and will treasure it, just like we do."
"This museum is a little gen and well worth the trip to Barry. Situated inside Barr Island Railway Station, the museum is run tirelessly be war enthusiasts who give their time and energy to make this museum the success that it is. Just a stone's throw from the beach, it really is worth a visit."

"My girlfriend and I, who are 19, stumbled across the museum on a day trip to Barry Island and found it a really interesting and enjoyable place to visit. The staff were lovely, really knowledgeable and very friendly. Learnt a lot about the war from the exhibitions. This would be an ideal place for a school trip."

"Have been now about 4 times and each time you find new things to look at. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They have so much to see and many different artefacts to study. The organisation of the war weekend led us to enjoy a perfect day filled with so many memories and I can't thank the staff enough for their entertainment and hospitality. Will continue visiting this place every time I visit Wales."
