The Museum: Located within the historicrailwaystation on Barry Island, the Barry War Museum is run by the Barry At War Group.. The Barry at War Group, of whom all are volunteers, aim to research, preserve and promote the wartime history and heritage of the town and surrounding area.
Authentic Wartime Experience:The Barry War Museum and Heritage Centre features: a WW1 trench to simulate life on the Western Front, a genuine WW2 Anderson shelter , and a 1940s style kitchen and many other artefacts and displays, including Barry's history.

Wednesday ... 11.00am - 2:00pm
Second Sunday of the month ... 11.00am - 3:00pm
As well as these regular opening times, the Museum is open to School Trips and hosts a variety of lectures and speeches. Dates and times of these can be found under What's On, in the menu.
